Resident Liaison Officer (Major Works – Damp & Mould Projects)

We’re looking for two experienced Resident Liaison Officers to join a capital works team on a minimum 6-month contract, delivering projects focused on major works, damp and mould, and tenant engagement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support residents during essential improvement works, ensuring they are well-informed, supported, and protected throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for residents affected by major works

Provide advice, support, and regular updates to tenants and leaseholders

Liaise with contractors and internal teams to resolve access or communication issues

Coordinate temporary decants or rehousing when required

Assist with complaints, insurance claims, and legal processes if necessary

Organise and attend resident meetings, presentations, and engagement events

Monitor and improve customer satisfaction using feedback surveys and reporting tools

Ensure vulnerable residents are identified and their needs are supported appropriately

Input into the resident consultation plan and communications strategy for each project
You’ll Need to Have:

Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer in a local authority or housing association setting

Knowledge of damp & mould projects or major works is preferred

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of housing repairs, resident engagement, and consultation processes

Confidence working across stakeholders: residents, contractors, leaseholders, and senior staff

Standard DBS (or willingness to complete one)

Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel
